Our PPE-Up in the SCV hosted by Westfield Mall drew many elected officials in to serve the hundreds of businesses and organizations throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
Thanks to Supervisor Barger, SCV's Elected Officials & the Chamber of Commerce
Supervisor Kathryn Barger provided supplies and volunteers from her office in support of PPE Unite's distribution efforts in Santa Clarita Valley.
“Our local business community is striving to stay afloat while prioritizing health and safety,” Supervisor Barger said. “I encourage Santa Clarita Valley businesses to access this free equipment from PPE Unite to continue to keep workers and customers protected. I’m thankful to the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber for continuing to support, equip, and uplift businesses with the tools they need.”
John Musella, Ivan Volschenk, and Peter Warda from the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce helped to coordinate this effort by conducting mass outreach to the Valley's business owners and distributing supplies on site.
Santa Clarita Mayor Bill Miranda along with Councilmember Jason Gibbs and Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares participated and rolled up their sleeves to hand out critical PPE supplies to some of the businesses and organizations that turned out for this successful event.
Thanks to Westfield Mall & Princess Cruises
Maral Matossian and Audra Cheney from Westfield generously contributed their site for the event. Becki Robb from Princess Cruises brought much-needed supplies/snacks and rounded up a group of amazing volunteers from the cruise line headquartered in the SCV.
